Terms of use

Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your mobile number or email address, or with your Google account. Keep access to the number or inbox you sign in with.

• An account is for one person. Do not share your sign-in or let someone else learn on your account.
• Give us accurate details and keep them up to date.
• You are responsible for what happens on your account. If you think someone else has used it, contact us straight away.
• To buy a course, you must be able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Buying a course

• Prices are in Indian rupees. You see the full amount on the course page and at checkout, before you pay. See Pricing.
• You pay once for each course. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank password.
• A course unlocks in your account as soon as your payment is confirmed. If your bank takes longer to confirm, the course unlocks when it does.
• Wallet credit is store credit. You can put it towards a course, but it cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash.

Refunds are covered by our Refund policy.

Your access to a course

Lifetime access means access for as long as the course exists on this platform. We may update a course over time, for example to correct or refresh a module.

When you buy a course, we give you a personal licence to watch and use it for your own learning. You may not:

• share, sell, rent or publish its videos, PDFs or assignments, or show them to an audience;
• record or screen-capture its videos;
• get around the protections we put on videos and files.

Videos you download in the app are for offline viewing inside the app only.

Certificates

When you finish every module of a course, a certificate is issued in your name. A module counts as finished once you have watched 90% of it.

Each certificate carries an ID and a QR code that open a public page confirming it, so anyone you show it to can check it. A certificate shows that you completed a MicroLearn course. It is not a degree or a university qualification, and MicroLearn is not a university.

Streaks, XP, badges and leaderboards

Streaks, XP, levels and badges are there to keep you going. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for anything.

Other learners on a course can see your name and progress on its leaderboard and learner list. You can turn this off in the app, under Settings, Notifications & privacy.

What you submit

Assignments and anything else you send us must be your own work, and must not break the law or anyone else's rights. You keep ownership of it. You allow us to store it, show it to the people who review it, and use it to run the course.

Using MicroLearn fairly

• Do not use it to harass, abuse or mislead anyone, including other learners and our team.
• Do not try to get into accounts, systems or data that are not yours, or to overload the service.
• Do not copy the site or its content with automated tools.
• Do not create an account under a false identity.

Our content

The courses, videos, PDFs, assignments, designs, characters and software on MicroLearn belong to us or to the instructors and partners who license them to us. These terms give you no right to them beyond the licence above.

Keeping the service running

MicroLearn needs an internet connection, except for courses you have downloaded in the app. We work to keep it available, but it may sometimes be interrupted, for example for maintenance. Features may change, be added or be removed over time.

What a course can and cannot promise

Our courses teach practical skills. They do not guarantee a job, a promotion, an exam result or any income. How you use what you learn is up to you.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute cannot be settled by talking to us first, the courts in Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as MicroLearn changes. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes too. If you keep using the service after that, the updated terms apply.
